The New Gallery was originally built in the late 19th century. Later partially rebuilt as a cinema it was hidden behind the more recent 1930’s facade to Regent Street. It is Listed but lay derelict for many years and was on the Buildings at Risk Register. It has now been fully restored to its original glory and converted for retail use with shopfronts directly on to Regent Street. The raking cinema floor was levelled as retail space with original internal features fully restored.
